In collaboration with United Entertainment Group, Pink Sparrow partnered with the American Optometric Association to design a custom installation that reimagines the eye as a sophisticated piece of technology. The goal here was to bring awareness to how important the eye is to the human body and to get people to the eye doctor.
We worked with industrial designer Sebastian Arrieta to design the centerpiece of the event, which turns the biological layers of the eye into their technological equipment. The stations surrounding the centerpiece highlight different capabilities the eye possess; such as color, light, and depth perception. One of the stations also breaks down the layers of the retina, informing people of the many intricacies of the human eye.
The centerpiece was created using 3D-printed components, acrylic domes, and integrated LED rings to bring the tech forward eye to life.
